• ELECTROCHEMICAL FUEL CELL SENSOR

  AlcoFind AF-100S is equipped with a very accurate electrochemical fuel cell sensor, offering high sensitivity, stable parameters, and very short warm-up, sample analysis and return to standby times.

• CALIBRATION ONCE A YEAR, OR EVERY 500 TESTS

  Calibration is recommended after conducting as many as 500 test, not less often than every 12 months. The user can set the alarm threshold at one of 5 available levels, from 0.1 to 0.5‰ (0.05 – 0.25mg/l).

• CLEAR RESULTS – LED INDICATORS

  Screening results are indicated by colour LED lights. The alcohol content is signalised with precision far greater than those offered by inferior instruments. The number and colour of lights reflects the range within which the result is located, compared to previously defined threshold – 1 blue light indicates 0-20% set value, 5 blue lights – 81-100% value, while 3 orange lights signal alarming value of 151-200%

• DEVICE STATUS INDICATION

  The AF-100S high quality alcohol tester notifies the operator about its status (number of conducted tests, remaining time until due calibration, battery level, readiness, or sample collection) by LED light sequences. Additionally, to further facilitate the operation, the device was equipped with a flash lamp.

• TWO MODES OF OPERATION OF THE ALCOHOL TESTER

  The digital can work in one of two available modes – active, requiring tested person to blow air at the sensor, or passive, in which the screener collects samples automatically. Passive mode is useful in cases of screened individuals being unable, or refusing to take the test. It can also be utilised to screen liquids for alcohol content – the device collects vapours, e.g. from a bottle of beverage, in order to determine possible presence of alcohol.
